What common problems does the Peugeot 207 have? Several owners of the Peugeot 207 have described an issue that generates a loud grinding noise from the area of the rear wheels. All transmissions suffer their greatest torque reactions changing from 1st to 2nd gears so these are the first to go. It's a toss-up whether to take it to a Peugeot dealer or to a member of www.fedauto.co.uk I'd favour the latter.

As per the title I have a 2007 207 GTi that has had the ESP light come on the dash and ESP/ASR Faulty Unit error message appear. I took it into the local dealership and have been informed that fault code C1302 is coming up and relates to a breaking pressure sensor signal problem.

Issue - The steering pulls to the left or right, noise from the front suspension. Cause - Lubricate the upper strut rear bearing bracket. Repair - Remove the rear shock absorber upper bracket bearing, clean of grease and refit. Peugeot 207 - DIESELS 1.6 HDi. Issue - Turbocharger oil leaks, power loss, whistling sound. The 207 is quicker, more refined, quieter, roomier, friendlier at the limit, better built, packed with kit, doesn't kangaroo in traffic and is far safer. I dread to think how many NCAP stars a QZ1aw.
